Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer to join our team in the Bay Area, CA. This is a full-time position focused on developing, executing, and refining verification strategies for complex mixed-signal ICs used in advanced semiconductor micro-LED products.

The ideal candidate will bring 15–20 years of deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal verification, SPICE simulations, and behavioral modeling. We are specifically looking for someone who can poke holes in designs and ensure robustness across all phases of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, simulate, and validate analog circuit designs (non-design role).

  • “Poke holes” in designs by identifying weaknesses and edge cases in circuits.

  • Work on SPICE simulations, RC extraction, and SRAM/cell architecture.

  • Develop and implement mixed-signal verification strategies and coverage plans.

  • Design and build verification testbenches using SystemVerilog and standard verification methodologies.

  • Write and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of mixed-signal circuits.

  • Create analog behavioral models and perform equivalence checks for simulation accuracy.

  • Collaborate closely with design, layout, and digital verification teams to debug and resolve issues.

  • Drive sign-off for mixed-signal blocks and ensure tapeout readiness.

  • Develop automation scripts to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain model performance.

  • Stay updated on emerging verification methodologies and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • 15–20 years of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal verification.

  • Experience with sub-40nm processes and memory architecture preferred.

  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal verification principles.

  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and scripting languages (Python or Perl).

  • Hands-on experience with simulation tools, coverage collection, waveform analysis, and automation.

  • Familiarity with analog IPs such as ADC, DAC, LDO, and charge pumps.

  • Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Additional Skills and Traits

  • Team player with a proactive approach to collaboration and execution.

  • Flexibility to switch technical contexts quickly.

  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and methodologies.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Location and Work Model

  • Bay Area, CA

  • Full-time, on-site role
