Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer to join our team in the Bay Area, CA. This is a full-time position focused on developing, executing, and refining verification strategies for complex mixed-signal ICs used in advanced semiconductor micro-LED products.
The ideal candidate will bring 15–20 years of deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal verification, SPICE simulations, and behavioral modeling. We are specifically looking for someone who can poke holes in designs and ensure robustness across all phases of development.
Key Responsibilities

Review, simulate, and validate analog circuit designs (non-design role).

“Poke holes” in designs by identifying weaknesses and edge cases in circuits.

Work on SPICE simulations, RC extraction, and SRAM/cell architecture.

Develop and implement mixed-signal verification strategies and coverage plans.

Design and build verification testbenches using SystemVerilog and standard verification methodologies.

Write and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of mixed-signal circuits.

Create analog behavioral models and perform equivalence checks for simulation accuracy.

Collaborate closely with design, layout, and digital verification teams to debug and resolve issues.

Drive sign-off for mixed-signal blocks and ensure tapeout readiness.

Develop automation scripts to enhance workflow efficiency and maintain model performance.

Stay updated on emerging verification methodologies and industry trends.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

15–20 years of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal verification.

Experience with sub-40nm processes and memory architecture preferred.

Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal verification principles.

Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and scripting languages (Python or Perl).

Hands-on experience with simulation tools, coverage collection, waveform analysis, and automation.

Familiarity with analog IPs such as ADC, DAC, LDO, and charge pumps.

Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
